Seen with a digital perspective, this role is usually called CDO as Chief Digital Officer ;-). His mission: understanding, anticipating and leading the most efficient transformation: BUSINESS DRIVEN.

One way to materialize sales is to package Digital Products and Services. And CDO becomes CPO - Chief Product Officer.
