Client: Tangier Province Authorities project
Concession for 20 years’ period. Project structuring through public/private partnerships.
60 million investments for Tangier project and 10 million for Tétouan project between 13 and 18% return rate

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Forecast and Business Plan modelling by integrating the securing of waste input with the purpose to achieve energy efficiency targets in order to guarantee recurrent cash flow,
- Tender Proposal for two recovery and waste management projects,
- Managing the bid team resources and commissioning relevant experts (finance, legal, design, technical expertise),
- Providing strategic consulting on the most up to date recovery and waste management solutions,
- Designing waste flows optimization schemes, from waste collection through sorting,
- Proposing a range of recovery waste solutions adapted to the nature of Moroccan waste (composting, anaerobic digestion, biogas, co-generation, alternative or recovered fuels, recycling),
- Financial modelling and financial assessments with different waste revenue from different partnership (Recovery rate, technical solution: storing+ solid recovered fuel (SRF) Tri + CSR + compost + methanation),
- Analysing and managing risks and opportunities associated to the tender and proposal,
- Origination and execution focus, Valuation work, Execution and Project management,
- Reporting to internal governance.

Project: Design, Build, Operate and Transfer waste recycling station and sanitary landfill in Muscat, Oman. Client: Muscat Municipality & Oman Environmental Holding Company (beah)

2 years’ design and built phase project duration for 9 million investments
5 years’ operation and maintenance phase duration for 30 million revenues

Direct and ultimate responsible for effective execution of the project:
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Carry out project costing and contingencies evaluation,
- Responsible for internal rate of return project during construction phase,
- Developing the construction strategy and programme,
- Managing contracts, finances and personnel to ensure the project is delivered within time and budget,
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of project,
- Extensive regular contact and follow-up with Client, sub-contractors, design team in France, Suez experts, internal support team and waste operation team to ensure effective engineering and communications at all times,
- Resolve Client/engineering and management project issues in a multicultural environment,
- Monitoring budgets, reporting progress using Suez Project Management Process methods applied to waste management and tracking trends on a monthly basis,
- Informing Consultants/Client of any errors, discrepancies or omissions that could impact drawings, budgets or timings,
- Ensuring effective communications at all times between engineering, contractors and client.

Managed and coordinated all civil and technical activities related to the Tarfaya Wind Farm project - 300MWatt.
Ultimately responsible for both the quality of Siemens’ deliverables and the effective execution of the project.

- Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects,
- Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects,
- Sourcing and selecting vendors and contractors, in-line with the project’s technical requirements,
- Extensive regular contact and follow-up with assigned project Clients and contractors,
- Monitoring budgets, reporting progress and tracking trends on a monthly basis,
- Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and management project issues,
- Reviewing and approving project Client invoices,
- Ensuring effective engineering and Client communications at all times.

As a Lead Civil Engineer, I was in charge of all the civil aspects related to the EPC Project (Blast proof Central Control Room building for Qapco, within the Petrochemical Complex of Mesaieed – Qatar)

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS :
- Prepared schedule and resourced forecasting for specific engineering activities related to the project,
- Managed project team resources and trained staff,
- Inter-disciplined coordination and overall quality control of the engineering work,
- Reviewed drawings, analyzed survey reports, blueprints, and other topographical or geological data to plan projects,
- Provided leadership and advice for all finance related functions, including financial and cost reviews,
- Inspected project sites to monitor progress and ensured conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards,
- Directed construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site,
- Estimated quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to determine project feasibility,
- Prepared and presented public reports, such as bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements,
- Provided technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.
