Yannick Dechoux

• Excom member of Storengy France and Storengy Business entity, leader on the natural gas storage market with 125TWh of capacities across France, Germany and United Kingdom (~900 employees, ~475 M€ of EBIT). Board member of Storengy Germany and Storengy UK.
• Management of a 50 people division, in charge of Finance, Procurement, Project Delivery (Management of major maintenance works 1 M€) and Asset Management (industrial asset roadmaps and special projects)
• Key achievements:
o Renegotiation of French Regulated Tariffs, Roll out of new ERP (S4/HANA, SAC, ARIBA), 110% growth of EBIT over 3 years
o Oversee ~120 M€/year of major maintenance projects within time, budget and safety conditions (0 LTI in 2022)
o Negotiate with authorities and regulator: obtain approval to develop 2 new salt caverns in France, storage filling obligations in context of Ukrainian crisis, restart of a mothballed storages
o Design asset roadmaps to ensure the consistency of Storengy’s investments between its short term goals (availability, safety etc..) and long term ones (energy transition to H2 and green gases)

• Manage a 17 people strong team: Proven track record of building and leading multicultural team across 4 different geographies within Asia Pacific.
• Oversee ENGIE’s Project Finance transactions in APAC, including 1.4 B$ debt restructuring of a Merchant CCGT portfolio, closing of ~1 B$ Renewable financings in APAC (Geothermal, wind, solar).
• Oversee M&A financial workstreams in Asia Pacific: 4.4 B$ divestment of ENGIE’s stake in a listed power producer, closed transactions on full spectrum of Customer Solution activities (District cooling, Facility management, Installation). Lead to closing the establishment of a 600 MA$ Australian renewable equity platform with an Infrastructure Fund.
• Business Development Oversight: Responsible for reviewing and vetting all Investment Files prior to their submission to the APAC Investment Committee. Member of the APAC Investment Committee.

• Coordinate M&A transactions (1 B$ total worth); lead financial workstream on due diligence and transaction structuring on targets active in the Solar PV and CSP markets (including Solaire Direct acquisition)
• Greenfield developments: Valuation and finance structuring for greenfield CSP, coal, gas and hydro asset. Responsible for Turkey between 2013-2014. Advising on risk allocation and export credit finance with JBIC/NEXI. Coordination with Japanese JV partners.
• Conduct corporate studies (incl. lookback on group CAPEX invested since 2008) and provide methodological support (Elaborate and update valuation methodologies applicable in ENGIE)

• Contribute to Strategic roadmap of International Activities (Strategic Orientation note)
• Analyze ENGIE’s international asset portfolio in support to strategic studies (MTP, CAPEX allocation…)
• Conduct strategic studies (cost of CO2 for BEEI in EU-27, gas balance)
