AX International Network: Appointment of Ambassadors in Rome and Singapore
AX welcomes two new members to its network of international ambassadors and correspondents. Appointed to Rome and Singapore respectively, Olivier Lebel (X1980) and Bruno Forissier (X2000) will serve as points of contact for students and alumni in those cities.
Olivier Lebel is an engineer who graduated from École Polytechnique and ENS Télécom and holds an MBA from INSEAD. He has held management positions in companies of various sizes and in non-profit organisations. He was notably in charge of finances for the Catholic Church in France and director of the French Red Cross and Médecins du Monde.
Based in Rome for 10 years and retired for 2 years, he is a business angel and active in the French community, serving as an advisor to French citizens abroad and deputy representative for the 8th constituency of French citizens abroad.

Bruno Forissier has served since January 2023 as Chief Executive Officer of Veolia’s Southeast Asia subsidiary, based in Singapore. A graduate of École Polytechnique (X2000) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ETSII), he brings over 20 years of international experience in the water, waste, and industrial services sectors.
He began his career in 2004 with Veolia’s South American subsidiary in Colombia, before moving to Chile (2005–2008) where he held operational roles in waste treatment activities. From 2008 to 2011, he was responsible for the operational management and development of water management solutions for the Chilean mining sector. In 2011, he joined Veolia’s industrial teams in Houston, USA, and in 2014 became part of the Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions team for North America. In parallel, he earned an Executive MBA from Rice University in 2016. In 2017, Bruno Forissier was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Veolia Brazil, overseeing operations in waste, water, and industrial services.
His career reflects recognized expertise in international management, operational leadership, and the strategic oversight of complex, high-value projects. In July 2025, he was appointed French Foreign Trade Advisor (Conseiller du Commerce extérieur de la France), joining a network of experienced professionals who voluntarily contribute to the development and global influence of France.
