A new member of the AX’s international ambassador network.
Julien Ricaud, a graduate of the X05 cohort, is to become our first ambassador in Mexico. He will be committed to helping the School develop its relations with Mexico, fostering the local community, welcoming École Polytechnique students on placements in the region, and acting as the main point of contact during official visits by delegations from the School and the AX.

After completing a Master’s degree at Paris VI and a PhD in mathematics at Cergy-Pontoise, Julien Ricaud undertook postdoctoral research in Munich and at the CMAP at École Polytechnique, before settling in Mexico City in 2024. He is now a researcher in mathematical physics at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where he also teaches at the Faculty of Sciences.
