Création d’une ambassade AX en Inde

Dans le but de structurer le réseau d'alumni indiens et de mieux y faire connaître l'École, l’AX a mis en place une ambassade à New Delhi. Marie Khater (X14), conseillère énergie et numérique au service économique régional de l'ambassade de France en Inde, et Jean-Nicolas Roussel (X12), coordinateur technique chez Systra, en sont les animateurs. 

La création de l’ambassade a été annoncée le 6 mars dernier à l’École polytechnique lors d’une rencontre entre étudiants indiens et anciens élèves.

À propos des nouveaux ambassadeurs AX

Marie Khater (X14)

Marie travaille actuellement à l'ambassade de France en Inde où elle est adjointe au chef du service économique régional et cheffe du pôle partenariats économiques. Elle est particulièrement en charge de la coopération bilatérale sur les secteurs énergie et numérique. Avant son arrivée à Delhi en septembre 2022, elle a travaillé quatre ans à la direction générale du Trésor, administration qu’elle a rejointe en sortie de formation du corps de l'Insee.

Ayant grandi au Liban, elle a toujours eu un attrait pour l'international et elle se réjouit de pouvoir, grâce à son travail, s'installer quelques années avec son conjoint Charles Maussion, aussi un X14, dans un pays aussi fascinant que l'Inde.

Jean-Nicolas Roussel (X12)

À Delhi depuis août 2023, Jean-Nicolas est actuellement détaché dans la filiale indienne du bureau d’étude Systra. Au sein de projets d’infrastructures de transport, son rôle y est de coordonner les différentes équipes techniques. Il a précédemment travaillé à la RATP et à la SNCF sur des sujets de recherche opérationnelle après une 4A à l’ETH Zürich en mathématiques appliquées au transport. Sa femme et lui sont ravis de découvrir la richesse culturelle de l’Inde.

AX embassy in India

In order to structure the Indian alumni network and to promote the School more effectively, the AX has established an embassy in New Delhi. Marie Khater (X14), energy and digital counsellor at the regional economic department of the French Embassy in India, and Jean-Nicolas Roussel (X12), technical coordinator at Systra, will lead this new ambassy.

The creation of the embassy was announced on March 6th at the École Polytechnique during a meeting between Indian students and alumni.

Marie and Jean-Nicolas will be responsible for animating the local alumni network and welcoming new arrivals and interns.

About the new AX ambassadors

Marie Khater (X14)

Marie currently works at the French Embassy in India, where she is Deputy Head of the Regional Economic Department and Head of the Economic Partnerships unit. She is particularly involved in bilateral cooperation in the energy and digital sectors. Prior to her arrival in Delhi in September 2022, she worked for four years at the DG Trésor, which she joined on graduating from Insee.  

Having grown up in Lebanon, she has always had an international appeal, and she is delighted to be able, thanks to her job, to settle down for a few years with her partner Charles Maussion, also a X14, in a country as fascinating as India.

Jean-Nicolas Roussel (X2012), technical coordinator, Systra

In Delhi since August 2023, he is currently seconded to the Indian subsidiary of Systra, an engineering company. His role there is to coordinate technical teams working on transport infrastructure projects. He previously worked for RATP and SNCF on operational research topics, after completing a degree at ETH Zürich in applied mathematics related to transport. He and his wife are very pleased to be discovering the cultural diversity of India.
