For several years now, Cameroonian students have been flocking to the École polytechnique. To support this development and strengthen our links with our Cameroonian alumni, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Frédéric Tchouli, Bachelor of the class of 2022, as AX correspondent in Douala.
We would like to welcome Frédéric, the first Bachelor to join the AX international network, and thank him warmly for his commitment.
Frédéric, a 24-year-old Cameroonian and a graduate of the École Polytechnique Bachelor of Science class of 2022, was the lucky recipient of a grant awarded by the École Polytechnique Foundation during his studies at L’X.
After completing his studies at École Polytechnique, he undertook an internship as a Data Analyst at Enko Education, a pan-African educational multinational that operates the largest network of schools offering the International Baccalaureate curriculum in Africa. He then moved on to a position as Project Management Officer based in Cameroon, within the group's information systems department, where he contributed to a digital transformation programme. After two years at Enko Education, in August 2024 he joined the marketing & services branch of the TotalEnergies group in Cameroon as LEAN project manager as part of an operational excellence programme.
Outside work, Frédéric is a member of the Cameroon Chess Federation, where he regularly helps to organise competitions on a voluntary basis. He is also an amateur poet, planning to publish his first book of poetry by June 2025.
