AX Embassy: Creation of the ‘Diya’ think tank in Delhi

Following on from the event organised by the X India group in September 2024 around Gérard Mestrallet (X68), a think tank has been set up in Delhi with the support of the AX ambassadors to gain a better understanding of the Indian business context and its specific features.

Meeting of the Diya think tank

This think tank, called ‘Diya’, is supported by the Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) and AX. It is made up of engineers and economists interested in development conditions in India for international companies. Its members meet once a month on Wednesday mornings at the IFCCI offices in Delhi. Speakers are invited to share their experiences of business development in India and the conditions for fruitful Franco-Indian collaboration.

The diya, an oil lamp very much a part of local culture, has been chosen by the group as a symbol to illustrate its quest for knowledge.
